Ownership

Joshua SagorJoshua S Sagor, LMHC, CEAP

Managing Partner

Josh is a  mental health counselor with over 15 year’s experience in a multitude of mental health settings that includes working in residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics as well as doing community and home based therapy. Upon receiving his clinical license in 2012, Josh joined CompEAP as Director of Program Development, where he oversaw all programming and training efforts for CompEAP.

In 2017, Josh became Managing Partner of CompEAP, where he currently oversees all day to day company operations and is an active account manager on several of CompEAP’s largest accounts. Josh continues to drive CompEAP by instituting programs and protocols that emphasize being a high touch, high visibility EAP.

Josh is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as Certified Employee Assistance Professional. He holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Assumption College.

Mark SagorMark J Sagor, LMHC, CEAP

Co-Founder

Mark is the President of Comprehensive EAP. He has extensive experience consulting to the technology, life sciences, service, manufacturing and non profit sectors in the areas of employee assistance, executive coaching, conflict resolution and team building. He writes a weekly blog on Stress. Health. Business. and is a contributor to WBUR's Cognoscenti.

Mark is passionate about the power of social media and peer-based solutions to assist individuals and organizations achieve their goals. He is an advocate for the idea that small, but continuous, changes are the most effective and sustainable path to achieving big gains in health, well-being and productivity. Mark has developed the “Small Change, Big Gain” program specifically for individuals who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck in their attempts to make meaningful life changes.

Mr. Sagor holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in education and psychology from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified employee assistance professional.

Bob KageyJ. Robert Kagey, Ph.D., CEAP

Co-Founder

Dr. Kagey, a clinical psychologist, has extensive experience in helping companies create innovative programs to maintain a healthy and productive workforce. Whether it involves helping leadership to create a more respectful workplace, providing supervisors with skills to manage change, supporting human resource staff to build employee engagement, providing resources for employees to manage stress or other innovative consultations, he takes great pride in maintaining a very personal connection with client companies. As an employee assistance professional his relationships with client companies tend to be over many years which provides a unique perspective and understanding of organizational culture and history of each company.

Dr. Kagey holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University and has completed advanced training at Harvard Medical School's Laboratory of Community Psychiatry. He has published research in several journals including in the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Primary Prevention, Journal of Educational Research and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Amie Girard Amie Girard, M.Ed.

EAP Counselor

Amie is a Master’s level mental health clinician who joined the CompEAP team in 2019. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings including substance abuse treatment, community-based outpatient services, group and school-based counseling. She has a background in providing services to adults, adolescents, children and couples and families. Amie has developed curriculums and trainings for providers on a variety of subjects such as substance abuse, interpersonal effectiveness, eating disorders and mental health wellness and coping skills.

Amie completed her undergraduate degree at Westfield State College with a concentration in Psychology. She went on to receive her M.Ed. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. She is an active member of Massachusetts Eating Disorders Association and Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association.

Tim LowryTim Lowry, MMFT, LMFT

Senior EAP Consultant

Tim Lowry is a licensed marriage and family therapist, practicing in Peterborough, NH. Since receiving his masters degree in 1982, he has held positions at community mental health agencies, schools, and various psychotherapy group practices. He has over 35 years experience treating anxiety, depression, addictions, grief and loss, life transitions, couple, and family therapy. He has been an adjunct professor in the Applied Psychology Department at Antioch University New England, teaching and supervising masters level students for over 17 years. In addition to providing individual, couple, and family therapy, Tim has extensive training and experience treating anger management and domestic violence. He has also provided training to staff and leaders of NH State and private agencies, corporations, and businesses.

Jackie Mader FieldsJackie Mader Fields, B.A.

Clinical Care Manager

Jackie joined CompEAP in early 2022. She began her career in the psychology field working in inpatient hospitals and emergency rooms as a crisis care worker while obtaining her B.A. in Forensic Psychology. She has experience in Partial Hospitalization Programs, and Outpatient Clinics, and is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Southern New Hampshire University. She will be graduating in the fall of 2023.

When Jackie is not working or studying, she enjoys hiking with her dog, gardening, cooking, riding motorcycles with her husband, and listening to true crime podcasts.

LillieJane SmithLillieJane Smith, MSW, LICSW

EAP Counselor

LillieJane Smith is a licensed independent clinical social worker who joined the CompEAP team in 2022. She has previously worked in clinical settings including schools and community-based mental health agencies where she provided in-home and outpatient therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. She has a background in home-based family therapy, trauma-informed care, case management, and advocacy.

LillieJane completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at St. Lawrence University in 2016. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College in May 2019 with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health.

Ashley Thayer, M.A.

EAP Counselor

Ashley Thayer joined CompEAP in February 2020, and has previously worked in various clinical settings including residential treatment facilities, outpatients settings, and schools. She has experience as a group and individual counselor for adolescents and adults, and has been trained in eating disorder treatment, trauma-informed care, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and case management.

Ashley completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Endicott College in 2015. She then received her Master’s degree from Lesley University in Mental Health Counseling in May 2019.

Wellness Team

Wendy BojnowskiWendy Bojnowski, MBA, MS

Director of Wellness Services

Wendy is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and has experience as a nonprofit and corporate wellness consultant, health coach program instructor and mentor and health promotion facilitator. Wendy endorses an integrative approach to health and well-being that includes mind-body practices that support the whole person within his or her unique context. She is a certified Lay Leader for diabetes and chronic disease self-management programs and a Lifestyle Coach for the CDC’s year-long Diabetes Prevention Program. She is certified to teach Hatha yoga, chair-based yoga and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention. Wendy also has training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other meditation practices.

Wendy is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta and received an MBA and an MS in Management from Georgia State University. She is a member of the National Wellness Institute and has completed NWI’s Worksite Wellness Specialist certificate program. She is a Community Coalition Board member of Morehouse School of Medicine’s Prevention Research Center.

Rick ClericiRick Clerici, C. Ht.

Senior Sleep Consultant

Rick joined Comprehensive EAP in 2013. He is a Certified Behavioral Sleep Medicine Educator. He has designed and delivered corporate sleep wellness programs for more than 60 corporations, universities and municipalities. During his 5 year tenure at Sleep Health Centers, Rick performed over 500 overnight and daytime sleep studies and also led therapy groups for patients struggling with insomnia and PAP therapies. As a therapist he specializes in sleep issues, anxiety, phobias and panic problems.

Rick is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston and a Certified Hypnotist in the National Guild of Hypnotists.

Janet BernalJanet Bernal, M.Ed. LPCJanet Bernal, M.Ed. LPC

Sleep Coach, Bilingual (Spanish)

Janet joined Comprehensive EAP in 2020. She is a certified Sleep Coach, certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her passion for education and counseling has led her to varied professional experiences including a 7-year tenure with the Federal government training employees on their rights and responsibilities concerning workplace harassment and discrimination; a Bilingual Therapist for David L. Gates & Associates co-facilitating psycho-educational group therapy in domestic violence; and in the non-profit sector managing a transitional living house for addiction recovery. Janet has experience providing mental health counseling and training in both English and Spanish in countries including Mexico and Nicaragua.

Janet believes the path to achieving an enduring restorative sleep is truly important for one’s health and wellness. As a Sleep Coach she specializes in resolving aggravating factors including insomnia, stress and anxiety.

Janet received her Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Southern Illinois University.
